I was at a very low point in my life, my self esteem was pretty much non existent and i just didn’t know what to do! I searched through the internet to try and find an answer to my problems, not even an answer in fact, just some help.

I looked into some personal development training courses but there was no way that i would be able to afford them (that was another problem i had, having next to no money.) and nobody likes to give you anything for free these days so i was really struggling to find something that i could afford that was still going to help me in my personal development.

I ended up going to a few personal development seminars but i wasn’t able to get much out of them to be honest with you, so i was back to square one and if anything i was feeling even worse in myself than ever! I even tried a personal development workshop at one point but again i wasn’t able to get as much out of it as i had hoped.

So i was back to searching the internet in the hope that i would be able to find a solution.  After a fair while of looking and getting very frustrated at not being able to find what i was looking for i ended up stumbling upon a website about mind power and at first i was a little sceptical about the whole thing, but then the more i read on this website the more it started to sound exactly like what i had been looking for all along!

The thing that attracted me the most was the dream programming part of it, which as you can guess is all about re-programming your mind while you are sleeping. It is quite remarkable really, all you do is listen to the audio before you go to sleep and the soothing music and words help you to drift of to sleep while sending positive affirmations to your mind. You get a wide variety of different audios such as confidence building, creating luck, being financially abundant and loads more. Plus there is also an e-book which tells you how you can make your own audio for whatever problems you may have. It’s quite remarkable really.

The dream programming is only a small percentage of all the things that you get with this though, there is e-books about luck, becoming a winner, remote influencing (very interesting) and even how to win at roulette! You really do have to see all of the stuff that you get to believe it, it is quite incredible. I have learnt so much about myself and others already and I’m not even half way through all of it.

So if you are thinking about getting some personal development training then i would definitely suggest this website to you as it has completely changed my life. One thing i will say though is that if you are not one for reading then  it may not be for you as there are a LOT of books to read, but you can save your money by not paying for the costly personal development courses and training workshops and whatever else is out there which has to be good.

Personal Development Training

You may be more familiar with personal development courses where you would go along and get help with whatever problems you are facing.  But in my case i found it so much easier, less time consuming, cheaper and beneficial for me to go through the super mind evolution system which if you are not familiar with it is a huge collection of e-books and audios (mp3′s) that can totally change the way you live your life, i know it did for me!

Dealing With Low Self Esteem

If you have ever suffered from low self esteem then you can understand how bad it can be and how it can start to take over your life, But i think that the first thing that you should do would be to try and realize that the world isn’t out to get you and shutting things out will more often than not tend to make things worse in the long term rather than better.

That may seem a little harsh but i know first hand that it is easy to blame the world for your problems and not try to face them head on! The main thing that i struggled with was the fact that when i bought several e-books promising amazing self confidence in a week or whatever, the things that they said would make you believe that all you had to do was change how you think about things and just like magic you would be cured. But we all know that it’s not that simple right?

Well in actual fact it sort of is as easy as that though, not quite how they said it the books but in the fact that you just have change the way that you think about thinks. That is the main reason that i decided to buy the super mind evolution system as included in the package (which is much cheaper than going on a personal development course) you get several different dream programming audio’s, which obviously just involve listening to whichever recording suites your needs as you drift off to sleep and it sort of re-programmes your way of thinking while you sleep – how amazing is that?

The Power Of The Mind

It’s quite amazing just how powerful the human mind is, but unfortunately these days with all the different media and other distractions going on, the majority of people don’t realize the kind of life changing experiences they can have if they were to just turn the TV off for a week and try to reconnect with their own mind.

To be honest i think that they should start teaching about mind power and certain mind power techniques in schools so that children have a better understanding of mind power and a chance of actually living the life that they choose, not just plodding along oblivious to all the greatness in the world!

When i first found out that i had so much more power over my life than i had previously thought it took me a while to sort of, come to terms with it, but once it had actually ‘sunk in’ i was able to take it all on board and start to live my life the way that i wanted.

Self Motivation – Do Positive Affirmations Really Work?

Do positive self affirmations actually work? The short answer is ‘No’ – unless you have a few years to spare and a heavy-duty reserve of perseverance. The problem is that self-affirmation is directed at the conscious mind and, unfortunately, the conscious mind has got nothing to do with the way you behave, how you react to people and situations, how you see life in general or, more importantly, the view that you take of yourself. However, as I said, if you throw enough muck at your conscious mind, sooner or later – actually, definitely later – some of that muck will eventually stick and make some sort of positive impression on your subconscious mind. However, you’d have to stick with it incessantly and, even then, you’d be faced with an uphill battle because your subconscious mind simply won’t believe what you’re trying to tell it if its view of reality is different. How come? Your subconscious mind controls your beliefs, behaviours and reactions and actually creates your own personal version of reality. Positive-affirmation is like trying to throw snowballs at hell’s fiery furnace!!

On the other hand, if you’re really determined to change your life, some area of your life, or change yourself, your own self confidence or some unpalatable behaviour or bad habit, it’s your subconscious mind that you must impress. It holds all the keys, has its hand on all the levers and its feet on all the pedals that either get your life moving forward or, more often than not, grind to a complete and shuddering halt.

To impress your subconscious mind, you’re going to have to become like a little child again – not childish but childlike. When you were young you paid full attention to the reality of the here and now, using each of your five senses – that is how you absorbed your current set of beliefs about the world and who you think you are. Consequently, you now pay little or no attention to reality today – your subconscious mind kinda makes your reality up for you on the fly! – with all the usual results. You need to get real, to relearn how to pay full attention to what is before your very eyes, rather than pay attention to your subconscious baggage that’s weighing you down.

The normal subconscious is wallowing in the past. And the key to your future is here in the present. You must understand that the present moment is the only place and time where life is truly lived. In other words, you’ve got to re-learn how to pay attention to what is actually going on, not what your subconscious mind, peering out through its dirty lens of long-gone events, thinks is going on. This re-learning process means training yourself how to pay attention to what you see, feel, hear, smell and taste. This training has to be practiced in peace and quiet so that, when things get going in the so-called real world, you’re fully trained and ready to perform in a way that will lead you onwards and upwards towards the life that you really want.

Self Help And The Link Between Spirit, Mind And Body

Very often I find it difficult to discuss some of the central ideas in what might loosely be described as personal development or self improvement given that ordinary language and words are inadequate. By way of example, do the words ‘universal energy’ properly capture the reality that we are energy, living in a world and universe comprised solely of vibrating energy and that energy is responsive? Does the sobriquet ‘Law of Attraction’ mean different things to different people? And where are the boundaries between mind, body and spirit?

Of course, in fact, there are no boundaries between mind, body and spirit just as there are no limits between us as individuals and the universe of which each of us comprises an indispensable and intergal part. Not only are we part of a whole, when it comes to us individually, there is just one – mind, body and spirit are simply different aspects of the one. This is important because, when you consider the facts in this way, it is obvious that our thoughts have an immediate impact on how we feel physically and mentally. For example, when one dissects the problem of stress and its very real physical results, we realize that our thoughts directly result in shifts in body temperature and heart rate, shifts in the creation and distribution of a whole range of chemicals all of which, if unchecked, lead to serious illnesses – such as heart attack and stroke – and, if seriously out of control, will result in untimely death.

My point us this. Our mental state has a direct influence on the mental state of others around us – this has been proven time and again by research in the field of psychology. How much more does our mental state affect us, ourselves? Your fitness, health and wellness are all directly related to your state of mind. Even your weight – your propensity to put on too much of it or a variety of eating disorders from bulimia to anorexia – is a direct consequence of what is going on in your head.

And what is going on in your head is directly within your own control – or will be if you make the effort to make the simplest and, ultimately, most powerful decision that any one of us can make as responsible adults – choosing your own thoughts. The ordinary mind is tortured by toxic thoughts, most of which emerge from the subconscious. Research tells us that the average subconscious focuses on the events of our childhood years and is predisposed to focus on the more negative events. This is our default state of mind. That is not to say that we can’t choose what we’ll pay attention to, however.

You are your own boss. Your life, in all its aspects, is dictated by what you’re paying attention to – whether you know it or not. That ultimate and powerful choice that I just mentioned can be taken, day to day, moment to moment, by deciding to pay attention to the actual sensory experience of the here and now. That’s the only cast-iron way of stopping your own subconscious dwelling on self-sabotaging thoughts. No other mechanism is as effective, no other way has the power to absolutely transform your fitness, your health, your wellbeing, your personal effectiveness and, most importantly, your ability to live a life of happiness, peace and unbelievable success.

How Do You Get Someone Who Doesn’t Know You To feel Comfortable Talking?

First of all, share with the person a hearty smile. You probably read me on another post and I was pointing the importance of the smile. Smiling is such a relationship key when it comes to have a healthy connection with someone. By smiling, you send that message: “I’m approachable.”

Have a good eye contact.
Your eye contact must be balanced. Do not stand there starring at the person with your eyes wide opened as if he was coming from Mars, the person will be scared. Instead, keep an about 80% eye contact. An eye contact less than 70% of the time may make the person believes that you are not that much interested and have something else to do. A 100% of the time, again, will be a little bit scary for the person. The balance will at about 80% of the time to keep the eye contact.

Look relax.
So many times you will see people talking to someone else with arms crossed. To make the other person feel comfortable talking, you need to unfold your arms and look relax. Remember people tend to react according to your body language.

Watch out for the distance between you and the person. Make sure you do not invade the other person’s space. When you do so, the person feel unsecured and uncomfortable and then the person will tend to step back to regain his distance. When respecting the distance between the two of you and showing engagement and interest by nodding your head and leaning in, the person will be more opened to keep up with you.

Master your act of touching.
Touching is such a powerful act. In Africa, shaking someone hand with your two hands is a tremendous sign of respect. Many people show that their intentions are friendly by shaking hands. If you are coming from a distance give a wave and a smile as you approach the person before shaking the hands.

Because relationship matters, everything has to be done to continuously empower them and the extra effort starts right at the beginning when getting the person you don’t know yet to feel comfortable talking.

Shyness can feel incredibly unpleasant, as anyone who has experienced it knows only too well. It is usually hard work to be in any social setting when you sense shy and more often than not the sense of awkwardness and self-consciousness can make you reconsider accepting future invitations. It can seem less difficult just to stay at home alone!

Statistics suggest that up to 50% of men and women have suffered from shyness in several situations at some time of their lives. It can be most frequent among teenagers, but can impact anyone and is frequently connected with social inexperience and being overly self-conscious.
